fundado en ciudad de méxico en 2021, xpan ha consolidado sistemas propios en funcionamiento continuo y una práctica activa en múltiples geografías, incluyendo ciudad de méxico, tokio, parís y nueva york. el proyecto mantiene control integral sobre el diseño, la fabricación, la implementación y la activación, combinando conceptualización rigurosa con construcción material directa.
el trabajo de xpan abarca la conceptualización, diseño, desarrollo y construcción de sistemas espaciales y arquitecturas experimentales, así como el diseño y fabricación de dispositivos, estructuras y objetos. incluye también el desarrollo de sistemas sonoros, publicaciones editoriales y plataformas digitales, junto con la generación de metodologías, herramientas y marcos de operación propios. estos sistemas se activan mediante programas, sesiones y materializaciones que forman parte de su propia investigación, mientras que hacia instituciones, marcas y organizaciones, xpan desarrolla consultorías, sistemas y soluciones específicas.
